McKay Brook Road Housing Development – Public Comments Invited
June 18, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed McKay Brook Road Housing Development project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project includes the construction of 4 housing lots, including the construction of 4, 1120sqft houses. Activities include clearing and grubbing of the lots - 4800m2 total (1200sqft each), construction of houses, connection into community water and wastewater services and landscaping.
